  • ASUS X1950pro, Corrupt 3D

Only occurs in DirectX games, EVE, 3dmark, Supreme Commander etc, but OpenGL (Quake4) worked fine for hours.

The card worked fine for the first 2 days without a problem. Tried reinstalling DirectX, drivers etc.

Seems like an overheating problem, but the card itself only gets warm and the fact that Quake4 works fine leads me to believe otherwise.

    Time to RMA it?

That's the nature test in 3Dmark06. The corruption persists in the same pattern on the desktop when you quit the game. Rebooting fixes it. It gets like that about 30 seconds into the test.
