    I hate the thought of Microsoft buying Yahoo. I hope it doesn't happen, mostly because I use my yahoo and I love the way it is right now. This may get me to switch to the Google equivalent.

      I saw that. After reading the article on Engadget, I agree, it would be dumb for them to merge. Too much overlap.

        Dumb for them to merge, but from MS's perspective, the could gain all of Yahoo's user base and kill of one of their comptitors. Then they would just have to focus on Google.
