  • Anyone Using Triple Head 2 Go.. on a dual head?

I am purchasing a new desktop, and instead of spending the big bucks on the QID, i wonder if i can't use the Nvidia card that comes with it (7300) in conjunction with the Triple Head 2 Go for a total of 4 monitors.
This is for audio workstation type stuff, not gaming.. and the monitors i have are 15" Samsung 153T's.

Right now, i'm using the Parhelia APVe, for three monitors, and it works flawlessly, but of course, i need more.. and since i can use the TH2G for my laptop, i figured it'd be worth looking into.

Unfortunately, the Matrox forums are closed, and the Matrox tech guys are fairly tightlipped.. somewhat unerstandably - as i'm sure they'd rather sell me the Qid.

    Thanks

Well point out that you are considering the Quadro NVS 440 which is cheaper and supports Direct x9

I would just ring up the sales line rather than the tech support line.

      Hi,

Yes, you can use a total of 4 monitors with the Matrox TripleHead2Go and dual-head graphics card. Just connect an additional monitor to the secondary output of your graphics card and enable it.
