  • Abit BE2 Rev. 2 reviewed!!!

    Hi!

I you are waiting for this great board to be released (hopefully later this month), here's a link to a great review of it.

I think I just soiled my underwear...

This IS the board for me!! Hoping my 450 will do 675 on this puppy. Ok! I will be happy if it does 600.

    Regards,

    Jake

True! True! But it still reads well, and looks like a good board. Now since I'm using U2W scsi, I may opt for the BF6 instead of the BE6-II, but I'm not certain yet....

Will have to wait and see what shakes loose after the official release of coppermine and other nifty new technologies...

        Hello Guyver,

I've heard of the BF6, but have not heard of any details. What are its specs?

          Chris,

I believe the review linked above discusses the differences between the BE6-II and the BF6. Most notably are the missing UDMA-66 integrated controller and ISA slot. It has 6 PCI slots, no ISA.... Yay!!! That appears to be the major differences. They are supposedly made on the same PCB with just the addition/subtraction of certain components.
