  • KM400 problem

Hi I have one of those small ATX mainboards using a G550. The problem is Im getting sluggish performance in my games. For instance Quake 2 is making about 30 fps tops, and that game used to run much faster on my old G200 in the past which a find to be a little odd. Another thing is that my AGP mode is at 4X at the bios, but the tweak utility from matrox detects it 1X. Everytime I try to change it to 4X or 2X it does not work. It does not detect my AGP version either.

How can I deal with this problem?

I have a fresh winxp installation, latest drivers installed, for both the v card, and the 4 in 1 drivers from via. My CPU is an Athlon XP 2100+ with a Gb of ram (PC3200)

    Thank you
