Just saw DMC the other day. Does anyone else agree it was a bad movie? Lot's of shouting, wild action, no dialogue, no fun. The first one made me laugh. Hope the 3rd allows JD to show what he can do with his charachter when he's given the chance. Not a big chance I guess, it'll prolly take till the end till they save him. Agreed. The second was a filler piece that doesn't merit being watched on its own (without having seen the first or now the last).
That could be said about a number of other trilogies such as LoTR or Star Wars, but the middle films in both of those were great on their own. For that matter Empire was the best of the original SW trilogy, but I'm starting to go off on a tangent
