  • Interlacing?

    Ok, big technical question.

    Using the same TV:
ALL the tv-output I've tried up to now flickers badly.
A friend's Mac has no flickering at all.
DVD's player menu has no flickering.
SAT TV menu has no flickering.
Hell, I can plug a 20 year old MSX and it has no flickering!!!!!!

This is pretty weird, to me.
I mean...I have desktop @ TV resolution @ TV refresh. Why a 30 euro's DVD player can do what a few hundred bucks video card cannot?

    What the reason may be?
The only one that come to my mind...is TV-Out output de-interlaced?
Maybe software interlacing the output could help?

Anyone has some kind of explanation???
Sat on a pile of deads, I enjoy my oysters.

Both the nvidia and ati drivers have flicker filters that correct it for me. What card are you using?
    Q9450 + TRUE, G.Skill 2x2GB DDR2, GTX 560, ASUS X48, 1TB WD Black, Windows 7 64-bit, LG M2762D-PM 27" + 17" LG 1752TX, Corsair HX620, Antec P182, Logitech G5 (Blue)
    Laptop: MSI Wind - Black
