      Sorry for the delay in replying.

      It was posted by a UK amatuer astronomer on a newgroup but kit wasn't mentioned.

      Here's a couple of interesting shots taken by my mate with an 8" tube with a CCD on the back. The one of Saturn on its own was processed from an avi.

          He's put a lot of effort in to fine tuning this setup. Much of the kit is custom made. He even made an extremely fine focusser from a pair of worm-drives from an old video recorder.

            Did he use a laser collimator to align it (newtonian etc.), or is it a catadioptric (Schmidt, Maksutov etc.)?
