Other Music Online

I've you've ever been to New York you might have heard of this record store called Other Music. Well they're now planning on an online store:

It's doubtful they will have as vast a catalog as, say, Apple's iTunes Store, but it does appear they will be using their hand-picked approach that has served their physical shop well.

The best part - 320 Kbps encoded MP3s without DRM, and they're aiming at around $10.99/US for an album.

You can even ask them questions about music or recommendations like in a real store (via phone or email).
