  • Alright power thing again

Okay since there wasn't much response to my last post I'm changing it a bit. How much crap do you have in your system and how much juice? Here are my specs:
    250watt
2 CD-ROM drives, hated the take HL CD out, put in MSDN, take MSDN out, put in HL... so I stole the 4x one from my old computer.
    1 floppy
1 HDD soon to be 2
    1 Marvel G200 soon to be G400+RR-G
    1 SB Live Val
2 disabled network cards. Don't have time to go to my friends' houses anymore.
1 56k modem, internal, not winmodem
1 Card Cooler, 2 chip fans, 1 case fan
and soon to be 1 USB Pen Partner(drawing tablet)

USB devices use the power coming through the large power, can't remember what it is called, connector that hooks into motherboard, right?

I have a 235Watty ATX PSU, and have the following:

      ABit BX6r2.2
      PII333 @ 500Mhz
      128Mb PC100 DIMM
      Yamaha SCSI 4x2x6 CDRW
      SCSI Panasonic PD Drive
      IDE Pioneer 6x DVD Drive
      Millennium G400 32Mb DH
      SB Live! Value
      NCR PCI SCSI Adapter
      PCI Hub/Ethernet card
      1.44mb Floppy
      Fujitsu 3.2Gb IDE Drive
      Quantum 2.1Gb IDE Drive
      Quantum 2.1Gb SCSI Drive
      2 8cm fans

If I plug in another 8cm PSU fan, my PC goes haywire - I don't know if this is PSU problems or not.

      Cheers,
      Steve
