      nice! Very cool when they used the inverted glass.

      Is there much of a risk when trying this at home? (My microwave is underneath my gas boiler )

            I've done the grape thing many times without harm, although never with a glass over it. I'd recommend you put a glass of water in the microwave along with the grape, because without anything to absorb the microwaves the magnetron can overheat and be damaged if you run it long enough like that, or worse, the standing waves could cause arcing.
