I can't believe that the Da Vinci Code made so much money. I heard it was a bomb.
    P.S. You've been Spanked!

Big opening eekend based on the book. Once that was over here it made its money overseas.

My favorite (from that list) is, by far, Casino Royale.

One way or another I've seen 9/10 (the top 9) of Doc's list. I definitely wouldn't rate them for enjoyment in the same order though.
              FT.

                Wow.

It really says something that "Talladega Nights" is in the top 10. It may have gotten better after the first 20 minutes, but this is probably the only movie I've ever decided not to finish watching once I had started. And this was on an airplane, where I didn't have much else to do ...

Really? I loved the movie...it was stupid, but that was the whole point!

I saw Superman Returns on Saturday, it was good, but entirely too long!
Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

I only got about 30 minutes into Anchorman the first time around - couldn't stand it. I've watched it about 3 times since that and I think its great.

Can't say I loved Talladega, but it was definitely good for some stupid laughs.

I'm not sure why everyone thought Superman Returns was so long. I thought it was perfect except for a few slow parts.

Seen 8 of the 10 on Doc's list, and three of those I really didn't enjoy.

Because the last 20 minutes were 20 completely wasted minutes we could have been doing something else! IMHO

Ah yeah, I can see that. It was a little unneeded and the movie could have definitely ended without that amount of closure. I remember while in the theatre watching I was expecting the end to come right after they find his hospital bed empty.

We watched Superman (one) yesterday (first time for the kids). That was pretty long too. You forget there was ~1hr of backstory before we even see a cape!

I think they found a very old reel in a dusty cupboard as the image quality was pretty poor and full of sparklies!

Gah! I haven't seen it yet.
