    Hate to be party pooper (harhar) but besides many other problems with that "demonstration," farts are at body temperature, not cold.

          Inside the body gas is, but you must also remember that inside the body the gas is contained under pressure within a finite volume, which increases the temp, and warmed by the innards. When expelled from the body the gases would rapdily expand, no longer having a confined space and a heater, as shown in the demonstration, and would quickly transfer it's heat energy into the air until it reached ambient temperature. Thus we see a simple demonstration the law of Conservation of Energy and the properties of gas under pressure when the fart gases are released from the body...

          Doubling the mass of gas in a closed container doubles its pressure. Increasing the temperature of a gas enclosed in a container increases its pressure.

          Because different gases act similarly, it is possible to write a single equation relating volume, pressure, temperature, and quantity of gas. This Ideal Gas Law and the related Boyle's Law, Law of Charles and Gay-Lussac, and Dalton's Law are central to understanding the more complex behavior of real gases.

          Ideal Gas Law:
          PV = nRT

          Boyle's Law:
          PV = k1

          Law of Charles and Gay-Lussac:
          V = k2T

          Dalton's Law:
          Ptot = Pa + Pb

          where:
          P is pressure, Ptot is total pressure, Pa and Pb are component pressures
          V is volume
          n is number of moles
          T is temperature
          k1 and k2 are constants

            FLIR is fun.

            that being said... that is staged... like was said... the gas is way too cold to be expelled from a human... not so much because of the fact it is cold,that may well happen with the change of pressure. the problem is that is quite a bit below ambient temperature in the room. judging from the difference in shade between the ambient room and then the color of the gasses released, it would have had to be pressurized quite a bit more than the human body could have done.

            maybe a can of compressed air would do something like that...

            nothing natural about the way that looks.
