    Finally took the plunge for a DSLR

    I bought a Canon Rebel XTi (400D) on the weekend. I skipped the standard kit lens and got a 17-85mm f4-5.6 IS USM instead. I'll probably add a 50mm f1.8 and some kind of long zoom lens in the near future as well. After I learn how to use the damn thing properly of course.

        What? I gotta work too. I'll post christmas pics of the family (or something) after it's all over.

          Just ordered the Nikon D80 with the 18 - 135 mm lense.
          Seen the reviews and the pics look great.
