‘Inebriated' man tries to fuel up at nuclear power plant

Instead of gas, one Illinois man's pit stop got him a quick trip to the police station.

According to Joliet police, Stanislaw Dobrzawski pulled up to an Exelon nuclear power plant around 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 28 and approached the security station, asking for gasoline.

"For whatever reason, he thought it was a gas station," Will County Sheriff's Department spokesperson Pat Barry said. "The guards noticed that he was totally and completely inebriated and called the police, and the rest is history."

Barry said he wasn't sure why Dobrzawski tried to fuel up. "Other than being absolutely hammered, we have no idea," he said.

Maybe it should be "fill me up.."
