Not as far as i can tell. Generally just use it for viewing videos off net, generally use NAD cd player for music.

I'm quite happy with it, even for DVDs. One problem, some .avi files are played upsidedown.

This mostly happens on DivX movies. Installing the latest decompressor or codec or
reinstalling the codec usually clears this problem.
We pass this way only once. Make the most of it !

Yup, reinstalling the codec fixed it

Since installing the Windows Media Player 11, I am now unable to play the 720p Windows Media HD downloads from the Microsoft Web site that I could play without a hitch using the earlier player.

I tried rolling back and then reinstalling.

                  Didn't work.

I hear audio, but only see a black screen.

                  Very frustrating.

                    I fixed it.

I clicked OPTIONS and then the PERFORMANCE tab and restored the default acceleration setting.

                    That did the trick.

                    Whew.
