  • Lots of portable applications

just found that site, carries a lot of portable applications that you can run without the need to install then, for example from an usb stick.

    http://portableapps.com/

They also have a pre-configured suite

Portable Apps Suite Contains: Portable Firefox (web browser), Portable Thunderbird (email client), Portable OpenOffice.org (office suite), Portable AbiWord (word processor), Portable NVU (web editor), Portable Sunbird (calendar & task list), Portable FileZilla (FTP client), Portable Gaim (instant messenger) and will fit on a 256Mb USB thumbdrive (though it is far more comfortable on a 512MB drive).

Portable Apps Suite Light: Leaves out Portable OpenOffice.org and will fit on a 128Mb USB thumbdrive.

Don't forget Portable Audacity, ClamWin, 7-ZIP & GIMP.

I have most of these apps and they're very cool/handy.

Portable version of Albatross18 Season 2 would be cool (come on guys, get on with it), for work that is.
