Incoming connections on XP

Hello,

I'm trying to access the internet via my mobile, using the pc's lan internet connection. The mobile only has bluetooth, but no networking profile.
The software gnubox allows one to emulate a dialup over the serial port.

The selftest appears to work, but I can't access the network. I think it is a windows setting preventing it.

Any tips on configuring incoming connections?

Could it be due to the fact that I try to assign ip addresses using DHCP?
(I'll try assigning addresses manually)

Problem is that when I check that box (on the lan connection), one has to choose to which other networks the access is granted. Dial-up networks is not in the the list (only bluetooth network, and my wifi adapter). The resources I found say that this is not required when using a direct lan connection.

In the dial-up properties, one can check a box to say that people connecting via dial-in have access to the network; this is checked.
