I bought several Westinghouse Digital LCD's after finding one on the road last year (in the box!) and discovering how very decent they are. Sharp, bright (I set their brightness to 0% ) and good colors. Best Buy usually has the best prices on 'em.

Best Buy has the 20inch wide Viewsonics and Samsungs for $370.99 which is not bad at all.

I think I'm gonna dump my two 17inch CRT's for one 20 inch wide screen LCD and be done with it.

            Way cooler!

            Cheers,
            Elie

why stick to 20" when you can have 22" for the same price

This is one of my biggest problems with TFT's, to many of the manufactors believe they where meant to be used as Signal lights for batman

I'm still not a big fan of LCDs, due to scaling. They still look like crap to me, unless you run them in their native resolution.

                      On the main HD editing rig (A64 4400 X2, 2 gigs, 1 terabyte RAID5) the graphics is a Matrox APVe PCIe 16X with 3 Westinghouse 17" LCD'ds in a triplhead 3840 x 1024 spanned array.

First time I fired it up all 3 monitors were still set to 80% brightness. I saw spots for 15 minutes
