Very poor VGA quality on Marvel
I just installed a G400 Marvel in a new PC for a customer. CUBX mainboard, 800MHz PIII, 512 MB ram. Nothing out of the ordinary.
I installed PD 5.41 & VT 1.52 & YUV patch under Win98SE (DX8a installed)
2 problems:
- no YUV support (patch said it installed OK, but YUV isn't available)
- the picture on the monitor is horrible. It's blurry because the image has several 'mirror images' to the right (all vertical lines are 'ringing').
The monitor is an LCD (made sure I had selected 60Hz refresh). Are the 5.41 drivers not LCD compatible?
When I hook my PC to the monitor (G400 DH) picture is fantastic.
