      Today NASA said they're the cleanest they've seen in a long time.

        Heh.. looks like the bathroom floor in a rundown 80yo tenement house.

          I think aesthetics is probably pretty far down on the list when deciding when to replace the tiles.

          Also, Dr. M, where did you find that video? I can't seem find any link to it on the Nasa site.

            NASA Watch;

            This is not a NASA website. You might learn something. It's YOUR space agency. Get involved. Take it back. Make it work - for you.

            who often irritates NASA with stinging, but well targeted, criticism linked to SpaceRef.com;

            who had posted the direct NASA link; http://

            No, it's not in the streaming mission gallery.

              Cool, thanks! Saw that on NASA TV and was rather impressed, it was a very cool way to see the shuttle in flight.

                Here's another long clip from the opposite SRB's bottom cam, this time showing white objects flying off the nose of Discovery;

                Ice? Disintegrating thermal blanket? RCS covers?

                  RCS covers, you could see 'em from the ground video too. Watched the long video of the SRB from launch to splashdown on NASA TV today, would be a fun ride.
