    1000:1
    6ms
    500 cd/m

I wonder how accurate those numbers are? Also what about the lack of an HDMI connector? Is it not a good idea to buy a monitor with lack of HDMI and HDCP?
Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice.

Well not having HDMI isn't a big deal. If you intend to use it for watching high def video protected content, the missing HDCP may end up being an issue. However, none of the graphics boards actually have real HDCP support yet (except for one manufacturer I believe) anyway, along with most of the TVs out there. But thats a seperate issue... consumers are not going to go out and buy another new HD TV and/or new computer just to watch high def dvds.

Oh by the way, don't believe ANY of Dell's lcd specs. Just like they claim 400cd for the 30" wide display (it actually puts out 300 max), this one is not close to 500cd. Same with response time. They show typical, not maximum.
