  • store data on DV tape!?!?!

Well, someone has finally given it a shot. I don't have a 1394 card, so I can't test it. Feel free to give it a try and report back...

I'd try it but I don't meet the hw requirements.

In theory it sounds good, if the bugs can be banished. I always believed digital tape would be the ideal archival medium since video could be stored (relatively)cheaply and uncompressed.
