  • Anyone Using an Abit VP6?

Hello all, I've gotten lots of useful info out of this forum over the years and have helped out whenever I could. Now I need the opinions of my peers once again. I'd really like to get a dual P3 system going and was looking at the Abit VP6, but I know how much Doc warns against using VIA and I definitely believe him when it comes to VidCap. Anyone have any suggestions for a dual pIII board? Anyone used a VP6? I'd use the BP6 but I definitely like the 133Mhz bus and as much as ram as possible and 6 PCI slots... Thanks for any and all input guys.

In addition to my trusty MSI 694D dualie I am also trying out an VP6. So far so good. I was a bit hesitant about the Highpoint controller but since the price was right on this board (Pronounced "free") I am going to invest some time with this thing and see what it can do. My initial test have only been with short projects (5 minutes or less) but so far so good.

By the by the VP6 only has 5 PCI slots.
Perspective cannot be taught. It must be learned.
