A REAL VIDEO CAMERA: VARICAM by PANASONIC
When I worked at TV station KTVB here in Boise, I became acquainted with a young producer, Jennifer Isenhart, and a young photographer, Tom Hadzor.
They later married.
Then they formed their own production company called "Wide Eye Productions," which is also here in Boise, Idaho, USA:
A few days ago, I visited their offices.
Wow.
They have a AJ-HDC27F model VARICAM by Panasonic, which I think may have cost them around $80,000.
Can you believe that?
They tell me you have to have that level of camera to survive in the video production business these days.
The latest model... the AJ-HDC27H... is here:
I watched them play back some images from this camera and the pictures just ***amazed*** me.
