    Hello,

Any of you guys have experience with Kiss Technology devices?

I might be tempted to purchase this device:

(DP-600, or maybe the model with harddisk, the DP-608)

But what are the experiences with Kiss in general?

    Other comments?

Dodgy firmwares, tendency to freeze while streaming from network or if a strange codec combo is encountered, ethernet reverting to 10Mbps in certain situtations (forgot which ones are those, eh) etc...
    Not so great IMHO.
They probably fixed a lot of bugs until now. I played with it about a year and a half ago, and liked it despite the flaws.

They were bought out by Cisco about 6 months ago. Don't know if that is good or bad, though...

      Goc:
      Thanks for the comments...
Which device device was it? Was the firmware already open source?

(I would assume that Kiss becoming part of Linksys/Cisco would be a good thing)

Rats, I just found out it cannot act as a network bridge...
