sound problem on the g450

I was wondering if anyone had a problem with audio when they were encoding with the g450. The audio plays fine while it's recoding but when I play it back there's a muffle when people talk. When there is no one talking or no noise it's fine, just when there's audio does the muffle come back. All cables are fine and it plays fine while it's encoding. Anyone know of a solution? Thanks,
