  • Nvidia goes crazy

    But... what is this?

    It's a high end HD display card with SDI I/O built in;

    SDI = Serial Digital Interface, a connection used to import uncompressed or little-compressed video from pro DV and HD studio cameras like Sony's CineAlta to high end recorders or RAID's for editing. Other high-end editing devices also use SDI.

    CineAlta:

    These cams frequently run $20,000 up to $100,000 without a lens, so don't worry about 'em
