Born in the year of the tiger here.. and I'm a leo as well.
We had a lot of fun once teasing this female co-worker when we all went to eat Chinese food and the placemats enumerated the years and the animals that corresponded to them.. we found out she was born in the year of the cock.

thst's nice, theoretically we're supposed to get along, together with the horse
I'm hopig for a better year, the rooster's been killing me, but things just seem to sort themselves out lately.
wouldn't you know, I just happen to be born in the dog year
According to Chinese tradition, this will be a very spcial year for you, with probably bigger chance to get something really nice (much money, better jobs, beutifull women and so on...), but also with higher risks. You can band a red tie on your waist to keep you protected (really no kidding) if you like, or just pay a bit more attention when things get somehow strange.
Chinese call these years "Ben Ming Nian" (years of own fate). So special wishes to you: Good luck!
Note that chaoliang did say "tradition", which isn't what a Diviner/Fortune Teller would say without examining your Life Charts, etc first.
And the "tradition" only counts the Dog bit (which can be considered to be the bottom half of a plant). Because the top part is something else (unless you were born 60 years ago, in which case it would be the same), there will be big differences.
So, take the "tradition" view with a grain of salt.

Well, I am taking it with a grain of salt, I see astrology as an additional tool to understand people (natal), as for previsonary, I tend to keep away from it.
