I'm just wondering what DVD decoder everyone has installed on the MCE boxes. I've had winDVD installed as I have a copy lying around but the number of problems it is having recently is making me think I should dump it.
1. Cannot FF or RW recorded TV (this isn't so bad, I can always skip forward and back)
2. Will not output DTS / 5.1 from DVDs under Media Centre. If I play them through the winDVD app itself it's fine - it just refuses to save the setting when I tell it to use the S/PDIF through Media Centre
The Internet would seem to suggest that the nVidia DVD decoder is top of the heap but as I'm running an ATI 9550 in the box I'm not sure how nicely they'd play together.
Any thoughts?
