  • Norton Systemworks Alternatives?

Any suggestions for Alternatives to NSW?
Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

Err... what OS? NSW hasn't been any good for years. Under Win2k/XP, the only useful part of SystemWorks is the defragger, which is pretty much lagging far behind DiskKeeper or O&O or PerfectDisk.

Disc Doctor doesn't actually find/fix errors any more, antivirus... well, we all know how good NAV isn't.

So be more specific - what do you want a program to DO for you, maybe then we could make a recommendation?
The Internet - where men are men, women are men, and teenage girls are FBI agents!

I'm the least you could do
If only life were as easy as you
I'm the least you could do, oh yeah
If only life were as easy as you
    I would still get screwed

I found this gem a while ago. I don't have the version with Antivirus, but it's done a good job for me.

Not much, but I first used it to clean up my work computer of duplicate files. Then I just brought it for home. I use the hard drive defragger/spyware eliminator, but it has a few other tricks that I've used that never messed up my system after running them.
