Nice unit, probably would have preferred this to the Streetpilot.
As a testimonial, the Streetpilot I purchased from Jon a year ago has worked flawlessly, and was in excellent condition.
Our last trip to Bar Harbour was planned at the last minute and guided intirely by the autorouting capability of the Garmin s/w. We made the 15 Hr trip without ANY maps - relying completely on the GPS.
Yeah, well I'm gonna build my own lunar space lander! With blackjack aaaaannd Hookers! Actually, forget the space lander, and the blackjack. Ahhhh forget the whole thing!

          Hey there.

          Two questions:
          1) How does this unit do for untethered operation? My wife just looked into Geocaching, and we'd want to use it mostly walking in the woods.

          2) Can you take a credic card via PayPal?

Feel free to pm me or respond in this thread.

          Thanks
          - Steve

Err, not sure what you mean by "untethered?" If you mean not plugged into anything than that's it's typical mode of operation. It can run 25+ hours on NiMH recharagables and longer on good alkalines.

I've used it to find a benchmark and a cache myself.

And yep, I can accept credit card payments to my PayPal account.

I would like to buy it.

I sent a PM, but it may not have worked (the "would you like a receipt? OK / cancel" dialog is a little odd)
