I've got my xbox connected to the TV and audio reciever using the optional high definition cable and optical out. I moved the TV cabinet as I needed to drill a hole in the wall and wheni moved it back, the receiver won't see the xbox.
The optical cable is constantly lit, and if I use phono plugs, the TV can pick up the sound.
odd. Normaly, the amp (sony davsr4w) would 'sense' the optical signal and automatically switch over... can anyone offer any suggestions or am i being stupid?
My xbox is softmodded with XBMC. I have ensured that the audio output is set to digital.
