  • SVCD and the eTV

Anything special needed to make an svcd out of the mpeg2 stream, off the eTV? Will the bundled software do it, or do I need something else? Anyone know of any tutorials specificaly related to the eTV and it's bundled software? Thanks for any suggestions.

I just capture YUY2/HuffYUV to 480x480 using AVI_IO's custom frame feature then encode using TMPGEnc. Offline will most always give better quality than realtime capture.

I'll give it a shot, it would certainly help the editing end of it. I've been punishing my poor brain trying to find a program as easy to edit with, as virtualdub. I can just use vdub and frame serve to tsunami, and solve the problem.

I usually create a series of serially named *.avi's on the disk and use AVISynth to frameserve them to TMPGEnc from there.
