  • Activation codes....

    There have been several threads on various forums regarding MSPro activation. Here is the finzl word from Ulead on how this is to be handled;

    Some of our products need you to enter an activation code before you can use the software. You need to be connected to the Internet for you to be able to enter the activation code. Please read the descriptions below to know which versions of our software require an activation code:

    Retail Box

    The program is on a disc. It does not require an activation code.

    Online ESD

    Purchased and downloaded the program from the Ulead online store. After completing the transaction, you will receive an e-mail from Ulead with one or more URL links to download additional content, plus an activation code for activating the program. You will be able to download all contents that the Retail Box has.

    Trial

    Downloaded from the Ulead Website but without additional content and activation code. In the trial program, click Buy to purchase the program online. After you complete the transaction, you will receive an e-mail with a URL telling you where to download additional content and the activation code. You do not need to download the program again.

    Codec PowerPack

    Some products have additional Codec PowerPacks that can expand codec support for a particular Ulead software. Similar to the online ESD version, you will receive an e-mail with a download URL and activation code after you complete the transaction.

    Just received the following from Ulead:

    Fresh news, we will replace the online ESD Version to make it no activation
    required. However, Trial Version is still TBYB. So if users did the
    purchasing through Trial Version, he’ll still need internet access to
    activate the product.

    E-Commerce and Web team will update the FAQ for this changing. Technical
    Support team is also ready to deal with the follow-up events from our users.
