By "best pictures" I"m presuming you mean stills in a slideshow for use on a DVD for playing on a TV?

First each image file should have its Media Source Options (select the clip and choose this from the context menu) set to use "Flicker reduction". This will resolve the problem of using non-interlaced sources on an interlaced display (a TV).

If you use a background and want the images to fly in & out you'll be applying a Moving Path to each image so you can size and position it.

In the moving path dialog check the "keep aspect ratio" and "calculate frame size with logarithm" boxes. Keep aspect ratio is self explanatory, but logarithmic calculation isn't often understood. Basically it improves quality when the images size changes over its duration. The Height & Width controls are used to size the image in-frame and the X/Y settings position its center realtive to the frames center.

Another option is slideshow creation using the Pan & Zoom effect. This is handy when there is no background and the images will be displayed "Ken Burns" style: full frame zooming and panning across the image. This is very popular and very effective.

In either case use the non-square pixel rendering option in the Create/Video File dialog when you create your output file.

How to get good results when sorting a movie on a DVD disk

      Thanks Doctor Morbid
But i'm sorry i've made a mistake ( not only still pictures but mosly DV or AVI files ) i'm not really good in english but what i want to know is how can i get good results ( from the capture till the edit on video editor ) when i create a movie on a dvd disk from a dv files ( camcorder sony dcr pc 120 1.5 megapixels ).
I'm slowly trying to understand this software, it was not easy to have it, it seems that we are really far from the modern world, now that i have it i'm not going to give up, anyway it's hard to have information about this software were i lived and it's with great pleasure to be a member of MURC, thanks again from what i know you are an MSP 7.0 specialist and your help are really welcome.

Madagascar? Wow....that is a bit out of the way

I'm presuming the video standard for there would be SECAM. This is close enough to PAL to use the PAL DV setting for your projects and exports in both MSPro and DCVD MovieFactory 2.

The gigapixel count only matters for stills, not for video. The video resolution for SECAM will be the same as for PAL: 720x576. The DV camera will automatically make the necessary adjustments when you shoot video.
