A logging proxy that e-mails his mom
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

My girlfriend, but it's not like she prevents me from using my PC for those kinds of activities it's just that I spend all my time with her instead.

How "little" is he? I mean if he's 16-18 it's not like he doesn't know about birds and bees.

I think you just install avast antivirus (or maybe AVG), turn the firewall on and tell him to surf pr0n sites with Firefox, Opera or high security on IE and don't install any software.

Try deleting your History and temp files

I use my router to time-block Luke's connection, give him a restricted account, enable the Content advisor, and the router can be configured to to various other blocking schemes, but they day will come pretty soon when I need something decent too.

            How about swapping to AOL?

              How young???

I suppose you could look in the cache then block the sites on the firwall. That would only prevent what sites what he's been looking at now not any new ones he searches for.

                he's 11.
I'll have a play with the router and see what I can do... I just want to find a solution that can be easily disabled.

well if he tends to go to the same sites over and over I recommend a host file. I've done that with my younger sister, check the logs (or have a logger if he's smart like my sister) and just add new sites as he tries them. It's a easy fix to have a clean host that you can replace with when you want to surf.

edit: actually I'm SURE You can find one online where someone has collected the glut of the basics of them. IT guys are lazy and like to share such things for corp networks.
