When I try to capture in 480x576x24 (for svcd) some of the frames get their colour messed up. It the same problem with both AVI_IO and VirtualDub. CIF captures (352x288) works fine. I use Huffyuv v2.1.1 compression, but I have also tried without compression, same problem.
The problem is 1 to 11 frames at regular intervals. For example:
Frame 00:00.00->00:00.13 is ok
Frame 00:00.14->00:00.24 is messed up
Frame 00:01.00->00:05.13 is ok
Frame 00:05.14->00:05.24 is messed up
Frame 00:06.00->00:10.13 is ok
Frame 00:10.14->00:10.24 is messed up
and so on.
With other captures (same settings) it is ‘only’ 2 frames at 8 second intervals.
I suspect its a YUY2 problem, or maybe some of my hardware playing a trick.
Any help and suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.
