    I wonder why they didn't use mercury. Gallium is probably toxic also, and alot more expensive.

    Edit: It's toxicity is much lower than mercury, so there it is...

      Quick question... what's wrong with being toxic? its not like you're going to drink it or dumping it down the drain?

        Toxicity is an issue because of eventual disposal at the very least.
