            yes, 5.6 CCC is MUCH smoother than pervious CCC. No doubt an improvement there. Noticably quicker load time, but can still use more improvements.

            Personally, I love the NV drivers a lot more, its quite visual appeling, easy to use, and best of all... very fast and stable!

            But ATI is finally catching up, which is nice to see.

                CCC is still bloated and slow only a slight improvement here to be honest.

                    Interesting Anandtech found no speed improvements in these drivers. I do find them smoother in HL2 although there are some artifacts with bad guys being able to through the walls slightly.

                      AFAIK they just measured max. frame rate. Maybe the min. frame rate is higher?

                        CCC < I'm still thinking this is pretty crappy in all honesty, why use this bloated program when you can do everything from the original console and save 100 MB of ram usage. It has improved. Although not to a level that I would have it on my system.
