New Turtle Beach Card

The Montego 2 is now available and its even cheaper than the original (~50 GBP). How good is this for avoiding dropped frames? The only reason I lose 1 frame in 5000 is due to my SBLive. Should I get this instead?

Go with the Santa Cruz if you can. Installed it two weeks ago. Worked first time without problems. It sounds fabulous and, so far, has solved all my sound issues. Don't need a splitter anymore and I am finally getting some decent volume on my captures.

How about the videologic Sonic Fury? Does this have a low PCI utilisation - it certainly boasts more features than the SB Live.

Turtle Beach Santa Cruz and VideoLogic Sonic Fury are the same card. So Sonic Fury is also excellent.

I've been using the Santa Cruz on one of my systems too. Sounds excellent and works well. Just be sure you D/L the latest drivers as some early versions had glitches.
