    Formula one?

What an ending of the San Marino grand prix! Schumacher (Micheal) racing Alonso during that final 10 laps for first place...
(and what a pass Schumacher pulled on Button !)

(no, I'm not a Schumacher fan, but this performance deserves credit.

I saw that too, was pretty damned close! Only caught the last 5 laps though, but still.

        Ramptoerist!

Just one: Fisichella, but while relatively spectacular, he was unharmed. A few driver errors (locking brakes, running wide, ...), but that was about it.

Here are new rules for those interested:

Don't miss a Formula 1 moment – with the latest news, videos, standings and results. Go behind the scenes and get analysis straight from the paddock.

          - 1 set of tires for Saturday and Sunday qualifying and Sunday race
          - engine needs to last two races, if the driver changes engine before qualifying, he drops 10 places, if he changes it between qualifying and race, he starts from last place.

also: the engine can be replaced after 1 race if the car doesn't finish that race.
also: a tire-change is allowed if the old one is replaced for safety reasons (which will be checked after the course); teams are allowed to change the tire pressure during the race.

During the first race of the season, there was one team that called in both cars on the last lap: they weren't in the points, and by doing this they could fit new engines for the next race . Apparently, the rules don't state the circumstances in which a car doesn't finish.

I want to see a F1 race with a special temporary rule in effect: all engines must have their rev limiters set to 3000 RPM. :P

Hardly, Jenson was too busy watching the two battling Williams in front of him that he left the door open for Shumacher

Looks like Ferrari are back with a vengence, didn't take them long.

It's a big shame that Kimi went out so early, it would have been interesting to see how his McLaren compares with the revised Ferrari.
