Davis, Is there any way of importing into MSP 6.0 or do you know of any other software that can 'split' an AVI automatically when the scene changes.

Same question here - it would be very useful.

If it is so wanted I can add option to write output in avi files instead of .PLB

Would be a great option as long as the original avi remains unchanged. eg. baby.avi could be split into baby001.avi, baby002.avi, etc. representing each scene change.

OK. It's ready and awaiting for you
            New version 1.1:

"The opportunity to save each found scene in separate AVI file was added. Now HandySaw can be used with any videoediting system, not only Adobe Premiere 5.*."

Having audio problems. Audio goes for 3-4 seconds then silent? Anyone else have the same problem?

Looks like a great program but $45 a little steep?

                        I don't think so.
I'v spent many hours researching algorithm and programming software.
And there are not so many NLE system users worldwide.
