  • Parhelia AVPe different displays 3 monitors?

I currently have a Matrox G550 and G450 running on 3 monitors that works perfectly with Ultramon - I have 3 different displays (eg one for MS Outlook, one for Firefox, one for other programs).

I am purchasing a new computer and need the same solution - preferably with a PCI Express outlet.

Will Parhelia AVPe do the trick (I don't want streched mode or the same display on each monitor)?

    Thanks,

No as will not the Parhelia AGP8x.

You want either QID LP PCIe, AGP or PCI (Parhelia LX) or maybe QID Pro (Parhelia chip, quad, PCI 64-bit/66MHz) or two card combination of:
    - P650 PCIe + P650 PCIe
    - P650 PCIe + P650 LP PCI or G450 PCI
    - P650 AGP + P650 LP PCI or G450 PCI

Thank you so much for your help!

I'd prefer 1 card as opposed to two - not AGP or PCI, as my new motherboard only has 2 x PCI slots which I want to use for other hardware if possible - and I would prefer not to go down the AGP path for my motherboard.

I just had a quick look at the Matrox QID LP PCIe, and it looks good. I apologise in not having found it myself. Pity their website isn't more informative, in terms of comparisons.

So, does the QID LP PCIe card have one outlet for up to 4 x DVI/analog monitors?

Do you know if it will support 64-bit Win XP, when it comes out?

QID PCIe has KX20->quad DVI->quad VGA

Check for avialability of different resolutions on Matrox support forum.

XP-64 is RTMed, I'd expect drivers soon.
