        Hello ...
Yeah I wanted to play the newer games that the Parhelia couldn't so I upgraded my non-Surround system from a 9800 pro to the 6800 Ultra and went for the 24" widescreen to get as close to Surround as I could.
I found ... the big screen with the high res ... although not Surround ... was petty dammed good !
This convinced me to go for new the system with the Athlon 64 FX-55 64Bit with two 6800's in SLI .... and it's really really dammed good !
I just wish it did Surround ... but hey-ho ...

        I sold the ...
        P4 3.2GHz - ABIT IC7-G – Nvidia 6800 Ultra OC - 2GB 3200 DDR
        650W PS - 2 x 160 GB HD - Samsung 24" TFT 1920x1200

... system last night including the 24" ... so I'll be back to two systems next week. (When I put the Surround one back together)

I just wish that the 30-inch Apple Cinema Display worked with a PC ....

        Cheers ... Paddywak

I just noticed that the ...
        ScaleHUDX=0.333333
... doesn't seem to have worked in those screenshots above.

My email seems fine ... I received one to tell me that you posted this ... and I received the two you sent ... 21st and 22nd March ... the latter mentioning Driv3r and Constantine. I replied to both ...

It may have just been a hiccup in the system.

Did you get my email I sent you last night titled ... Surround Game ? ...

I got your email on Surround Game ... but i didnt get your second reply. I was actually wandering why you had no comment about Driv3r and Constantine.

I haven't heard too much about Constantine ... but it looks good ... I hear the controls are pants.
Driv3r would be really cool ... go for it ... !
How did you get on with Dave ? ... He's a good guy ... I'm sure he was very helpful.

                        Hi wingie,

Which game are you talking about? I notice you have Cronicles of Riddik on top of your post ... if thats what you're talking about ... this game wont work on Parhelia at all. It has both DX and OGL requesrmants that Parhelia doesnt support.

                          Hi Rus,

Yep that's the game i got it from a friend and he mentioned that's a great game, i saw it's requirements are only a geforce 3, isn't the parhelia up to par with it?

                          Regards,
Wingie who is thinking more and more about buying a new card.

                            Hi wingie,

I have the game too ... I heard it is great also. It got Editor's Choice Review at PC Gamer magazine. Unfortunately no one has been able to get it to work on Parhelia because the game requires OpenGL 1.5 and Parhelia can only support up to 1.3.
