Debate about the validity of certifications aside ... anybody looking to get MS certifications will want to check out some promotions going on right now:
1) The Free retake promotion lets you do exactly that ... retake the test for free if you fail it the first time. You need to register for the retake promotion, which gives you a promotion code.
Register for your test online, and online ONLY, at Thompson Prometric or Pearson VUE's websites. Once you get to the payment part of the exam schedule you can enter the code. If you fail the test, call, and only call, Thompson or VUE and tell them you want to take advatange of the free retake promotion and you can retake the same test at the same center for free.
Offer is valid worldwide. The registration and the first exam must be done by 31 May, retakes must be done by 30 June
2) The 2-for-1 offer lets two people take test 70-270 (Install, configure, support Windows XP Professional) for the price of one. You must register for thos promotion and then schedule the exam through Thompson Prometric ONLY. So if you and a buddy want to take the test, you can each pay half and save some cash. This offer is not valid with the free retake.
3) If you complete your MCSA 2003 by 31 May you can get a $550 eReference Library for free. The eReference Library is English only and comes with:
