  • G400 DRI Xorg.

I just upgraded my video card from a Millennium 2 to a G400 w/16mb of ram.

I'm trying to get DRI working. The first suggestion I found while googling, was to install the xlibmesa-dri package (I'm running Debian Sid.)

I have Xorg 6.8.1 installed (through debian packages found at http://debian.linux-systeme.com) (it didn't work with the XFree86 in Sid either). The output is a little different now though.

I read also to 'export LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose' and then run glxinfo. And got this.

    name of display: :0.0
    libGL error: XF86DRIQueryDirectRenderingCapable returned false

    Log file is attached.

The really weird thing is that when I was using XFree86 4.3.0, it said Direct Rendering was enabled, (even though glxinfo said it wasn't) and now with Xorg, it says it's disabled (which it is).

    Any ideas?
