I just downloaded the Cane Toad move (see SitFlyer's thread). 31.7MB in 12min, 10 secs = 43.4 KB/sec. The download window (saved via IE) reports 44.4KB/sec - close enough!
The trouble is, looking at the network utilisation in Windows Task Manager shows 0.75% - which equates to my full 750 Kbps dowload via a 100Mbps connection to the router! That would normally be pulling about 90KB/sec.
What gives?
