  • Maincocept MPEG Encoder Conflicting With WMP

I have installed the Maincocept MPEG Encoder and have noticed that WMP will not go to full screen while playing MPEG-2 files.

Just to be sure I uninstallred the Encoder and everything returened to normal. I have WMP 9 installed.

    Which version of MC encoder?

I have the MC encoder from MSP7.20 installed and MPEG-2 files will play full screen, no problem.

Same here. I have the latest 7.20 and the MC 1.4 standalone and have no conflict at all.

I also have UMSP 7.2 and no problems there.

When I install MC 1.4 standalone MPEG encoder, the produced file will be fine but as long as I have the encoder installd ALL MPEG-2 files will fail play full screen.

Uninstallation will bring everything back to normal.

        PS.

I just renamed this video filter file "IVIVIDEO.ax", from WinDVD and it cleared the problem. Now what ?

Uninstallation of WinDVD and installation of PowerDVD solved the problem !
