    Is MAC adress the number after "EA" on the sticker of 3C905CX-TX-M?

    I must know this now and I don't have the means to check under OS right now...

    As long as it's a 12 digit string (commonly seperated into 2 digit sets seperated by a hyphen(-)) with no digit over 'F', then yes it probably is the MAC address.

      Does it look something like this?

      00 00 00 12 34 56

      That is what a MAC Address looks like.

      And all 3com MAC addresses start like this:

      Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice.

          Depends on the card newer 3coms have the sn as the mac address older cards don't.
